Community Guidelines
We want TheSkillVault to be a helpful, friendly place for anyone who's trying to learn something or move their career forward. These guidelines apply when you comment on our articles, take part in anything we run, or talk to us on social media.
Be respectful
Disagree with ideas, not people. Personal attacks, insults, threats and harassment aren't allowed. Neither is anything that targets people for their race, religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or nationality.
Stay on topic
Keep comments related to the article. Questions, extra tips and your own experience are all welcome when they add something to the discussion. Repeated posts, off-topic arguments and chain messages are not.
No spam or self-promotion
Please don't post ads, referral codes, links to your own services or paid courses, or requests for people to message you privately. Job offers and "work from home" schemes posted in the comments will be removed.
Be honest
Don't pretend to be someone else, whether that's a member of our team, an employer or a university. Don't share information you know to be false, and take care not to present your own experience as the rule for everyone.
Protect your privacy, and other people's
Don't post phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, exam roll numbers or other personal details, yours or anyone else's. Never share passwords or payment information.
Respect the law and other people's work
Don't post anything illegal, or anything that encourages cheating, plagiarism or exam malpractice. Only share material you have the right to share, and give credit when you mention someone else's work.
How we moderate
We read comments, though not always before they appear. We may edit, hide or remove anything that breaks these guidelines, and block people who break them repeatedly. We can't always explain individual decisions. If a comment stays up, that doesn't mean we agree with it.
